How often do AI answers cite Reddit?

What makes a Reddit thread worth citing?

Reddit is where buyers ask other buyers, and AI answers cite those threads, often long after they were posted.

Reddit also has its own AI search, Reddit Answers, announced in December 2024, which summarises conversations from across Reddit. Either way, the thread is the unit: a thread that answers the buyer's question well is what gets read.
