    Where it falls short

    • Reads 5 engines at most, Gemini only from Growth, fewer than Promptwatch or Profound offer

Why do teams look for Peec AI alternatives?

Peec AI is one of the most-named AI search trackers there is: in our own readings it appeared in 110 of 111 answers to the question this page is about. Its plans, Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise, group features under Discover, Measure, Act and Report, and its reports on visibility, position, sentiment and sources are clean.

People look elsewhere for three reasons. They want a cheaper start: Peec's Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts, as Peec's own Semrush comparison states. They want more than the three models each plan reads, or more prompts for the money. Or they have the numbers and nobody to act on them. The tools below answer one of those three reasons each, and say which.

What would the crew ship for this question?

An example of the work: the Web engineer opens a pull request on your own site that answers the question first and sources every claim. In Draft mode, the default, it waits for you, and prices and names always do.

What do AI engines answer for "Peec AI alternatives"?

We track this exact question in our own workspace, on ChatGPT and Perplexity every day, and the chart above shows who the answers named. Peec AI leads its own question, the usual trackers follow, and Attensira is not named.

The interesting part is not who was named but why. The Perplexity answer at the top of this page names Writesonic and AirOps first, and the first three pages it cites are Writesonic's, AirOps' and HubSpot's own articles about Peec AI alternatives. A vendor that writes the list tends to come first in it. Across the readings the same pattern holds: a HubSpot blog post, G2 and a few vendors' comparison pages carry the answer. An answer engine does not test the tools. It reads what has been written about them and repeats the consensus of the pages it trusts.

That is useful to know as a buyer, because it tells you what the answer is worth: a summary of vendor lists, weighted towards whoever wrote the most-cited one. It is also useful to know as a seller, because it tells you what to change if you want to be in that answer. We come back to that below.

Which pages build that answer?

A HubSpot blog post more than any tool's own site, and each engine has its favourites: ChatGPT leaned on Promptwatch's article, Perplexity on RadarKit's. Those few pages are where a seller in this category has to be named.

What does Peec AI do well?

Peec AI is analytics-first and clean about it. It reports visibility, average position, sentiment, share of voice and the sources that answers cite, and lets you compare yourself with named competitors. The answers we read describe it the same way again and again: a clear dashboard for teams that already know what they will do with the numbers.

It is also very good at being named, which comes from being written about widely, on vendor lists, review sites and blog roundups alike. If your team has a content lead and a technical SEO and needs a measurement layer, staying on Peec AI is a reasonable decision.

Which alternative fits which reason for leaving?

You want a cheaper start. Otterly.AI publishes every self-serve plan, from Lite at 15 prompts to Premium at 400, with add-on prices per engine. LLMrefs has one plan with 500 prompts. Promptwatch publishes three tiers. AthenaHQ publishes a free tier and Starter. Any of them lets you put a number in a budget before talking to anyone.

You want a different engine mix. Promptwatch lets you pick four models from more than ten, Grok and DeepSeek among them. Profound reads up to nine on Enterprise. AthenaHQ lists eleven on Starter. If your buyers really use those engines, coverage is the deciding factor; if they live in ChatGPT and Google, it is not.

You want the work done. This is where trackers stop. The dashboard tells you that a competitor is named because three comparison pages and a Reddit thread mention them and not you. Somebody then has to write the page, fix the old one, pitch the three authors and answer the thread. Attensira's crew of agents does that work, files each piece in one inbox, and waits for your approval before anything leaves the workspace.

How do these tools count what you pay for?

Comparing trackers on monthly price alone hides the unit. Otterly.AI counts prompts and reads each one daily on its included engines. LLMrefs counts prompts and reports weekly. Promptwatch counts prompts and responses and fixes the number of models. AthenaHQ counts credits, one per AI response. Scrunch counts custom prompts and seats.

To compare honestly, turn each plan into answers read per month: prompts times engines times samples times days. Then ask how many answers sit behind each rate the tool shows you. A visibility rate built on six answers moves every day for reasons that have nothing to do with your work. Attensira states its sampling outright: one sample per reading on the entry plan, three on Growth and above, and every rate it shows carries its n.

What would actually change these answers?

If the answer to "Peec AI alternatives" is assembled from a handful of comparison pages, the way into it runs through those pages. Our crew works sources in a fixed order. First the proven ones: pages an engine already cites for your question that name a competitor and not you. Then the better ones: pages that outrank you but have not been seen citing you yet. Only when nothing worth joining exists does it publish a new page worth citing.

For a page like the HubSpot post that dominated these answers, that means a pitch to its author, drafted for you and sent from your own mailbox after you approve it. For a Reddit thread, a reply drafted for you to post; Attensira never posts to a community on its own. For your own site, a fix as a draft pull request or a CMS draft. Then the answers are read again at +7, +14 and +30 days after the change ships, and a change inside the noise is reported as no change.

What should a replacement prove in its first week?

A trial is long enough to learn whether a tool will be useful, if you test the right things. Take the twenty prompts you watch most closely in Peec AI and put them into the trial on day one.

By day three you should be able to answer four questions. Does the tool name the same competitors Peec AI does for those prompts, and if not, can you open the answers and see why? Does it show the pages each answer cited, so you know where the consensus comes from? Does each rate say how many answers it rests on? And does anything in the tool tell you what to do next, beyond "improve your content"?

Attensira's first reading answers a fifth question as well: what will be done about it. On day one the crew reads your site and drafts a business profile, takes a first reading of every prompt you track, and ranks the answers you lose. By the end of the first week the first pieces of work, an article, a page fix, a pitch, are in your inbox waiting for your approval. You can see whether the work is good before any of it goes out.

Which numbers should you keep when you switch?

Keep your history, even if the new tool cannot import it. Export Peec AI's visibility and position per prompt for the last three months and store the file. The engines change their answers often, and a baseline from before your switch is the only way to tell whether a later movement came from your work or from a model update.

Keep the prompt list, and prune it. Many teams track prompts nobody types, because they were generated in bulk. A good prompt is one a buyer would ask before choosing a product like yours, in the words they would use. Fifty of those beat five hundred of the other kind.

Keep the competitor list too, but add the sources. In our readings the answers to this question were built from a small set of pages. Knowing which pages decide your answers is worth more than another week of rates, because it tells you exactly where the work has to happen.

How was this list made?

Every price, plan and engine count was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 4 October 2026 and is linked in the sources below. No vendor was contacted. Where a page did not show a price in what we read, that is what we say; Peec AI's amounts load in the browser, so its prices are as indexed from its pricing page and stated on its own comparison pages. The answer counts come from our own tracked prompt, read through the Attensira MCP for the attensira.com workspace, with the sample size and dates stated. The order reflects how directly each tool answers one of the three reasons above. Attensira is our product and its entry lists its shortfalls like every other.

When is Attensira the wrong pick?

If you want the most engines for the money, Promptwatch, Profound or AthenaHQ read more than we do today. If you want a weekly report and nothing else, LLMrefs is cheaper. If your team already turns findings into work every week, you do not need someone else to do it, and a tracker is the honest buy. And because Attensira is new, there is no customer logo to point at yet; what you can check is the method, in public docs, and the free audit on your own domain.

When Attensira is the right pick, the reason is simple to state. Peec AI and the trackers above tell you where you stand; an agency would change it, slowly and on a retainer. Attensira does the agency's work at software speed: research, writing, fixes to existing pages, placements on the pages the answers cite, each piece shown to you first and each shipped change measured afterwards, paid in credits for the work done, up to a monthly budget you set.

What does Attensira cost?

SEO and GEO are an investment every company now makes for AI search. Attensira gives you agency-level GEO work with tool-level control: research, writing, page fixes, placements and ads. How much you invest is your choice.

There are 3 plans and Enterprise. They differ in how many prompts you optimize towards (Starter 50, Growth 150 and Business 350) and how many credits of agent work a month each includes (300, 600 and 1,200), at 1 credit = 1¢. We sell credits: buy more any time.

Questions people ask

What is the best alternative to Peec AI?
For a cheaper tracker with a published price, Otterly.AI or LLMrefs. For choosing which engines you read, Promptwatch. For the widest enterprise coverage, Profound. If you already have the numbers and need the SEO work done, Attensira, where a crew of agents does the work and you approve each piece.
How much does Peec AI cost?
As indexed from peec.ai/pricing, Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts, Pro $245 for 150 and Advanced $495 for 350, each tracking three models you choose; Enterprise is through sales. The amounts load in the browser, so check the live page before you budget. For comparison, Otterly.AI Lite is $29 a month and Promptwatch Essential is $95 a month, both published.
Is there a free alternative to Peec AI?
AthenaHQ has a free Essential tier with $25 of credit that does not expire on a timer, and Profound offers a free 7-day trial. Our free audit at attensira.com/audit asks four engines eight buying questions about your category and shows who they name instead of you, without a signup.
Does Peec AI do the work, or only report?
Peec AI groups features under Discover, Measure, Act and Report, so it does more than chart a score. The question to ask any tracker is who changes the answer after the finding. With Attensira, agents write the article, fix the page, pitch the source and draft the community reply, and you approve each one.
Why does ChatGPT keep naming the same tools?
Because it builds the answer from the same pages. In our readings ChatGPT's answers to this question leaned on a handful of "Peec AI alternatives" articles, several published by vendors on the list. A tool that writes the most-cited list tends to come first in it. Changing that is off-site work, and it is the kind Attensira's crew does.
