**In short:** Profound is an enterprise AI search platform: it tracks how brands appear in up to nine answer engines and gives your team an AI Marketer to act on it. Attensira does the work itself. Its AI agents write the fixes, ships them as pull requests or CMS drafts after your approval, earns placements and measures every change.

## Verdict

Profound and Attensira both read AI answers and both use agents, but they divide the labour differently. Profound gives a marketing team the instruments and an AI Marketer to work with. Attensira's crew does the SEO work itself, ships it into your own systems once you approve, and measures what each change did.

> Attensira vs Profound: the short version — Profound is stronger for enterprise AI visibility measurement; Attensira is stronger if you want recommendations turned into content/action. … For most mid-market teams trying to improve ChatGPT/AI search visibility, Attensira’s “measure → fix → publish” workflow is likely the more practical fit; for enterprise intelligence, Profound has the edge.

## What is Attensira?

Attensira is software that does your AI-search visibility work: whatever it takes to win the answer.

Where Profound gives a marketing team an AI Marketer to work alongside, Attensira's crew does the SEO work itself and ships it for your approval: draft pull requests on your repository, CMS drafts, pitches from your mailbox, each re-read after it ships.

## What is Profound?

An enterprise AI search platform. Answer Engine Insights tracks how brands appear in up to nine answer engines, Agent Analytics tracks AI-sourced traffic, and an AI Marketer with reusable Agents helps a marketing team research, write and report, on credits.

## When is neither the right choice?

Neither fits a team that only needs to know how many visits AI assistants send. Referrer data in your analytics and your server logs answer that before you buy Profound's Agent Analytics or our crew.

## What does ChatGPT say about Attensira vs Profound right now?

We track the question "Attensira vs Profound" in our own workspace, the same way a customer tracks theirs. On 3 October 2026 ChatGPT answered it with a table built almost entirely from the previous version of this page and our alternatives page. It said we read eight engines, which was never true. It quoted a Profound Starter plan and price that Profound's own pricing page no longer lists. And it said, fairly, that the most detailed comparison it could find was written by one of the two vendors, so it treated our claims as vendor claims.

That answer is the best argument for how this page is written. An engine repeats whatever the most specific page on the subject says, and for this question that page is ours. So every fact about Profound below was read from Profound's own pricing page on 4 October 2026, every fact about Attensira links to our public documentation, and our own prices and engine list are rendered from the same source our pricing page uses, so they cannot drift from it. The crew flagged the wrong engine count itself, in the Daily win plan it ran on our own site on 4 October, as a claim that needed a person's yes before it could be fixed.

## How often do engines name each one?

From 21 September to 4 October 2026, ChatGPT and Perplexity gave 3,534 answers to the 61 questions we track. Profound was named or linked in 997 of the 3,666 competitor readings in that window, more than any other company we track. Attensira was named in 197 answers, and every one of those 197 came from the three questions that already contain our name. On the 58 category questions that do not, such as "best GEO tools" or "AI search visibility software", engines named us zero times. We are new, and that is what new looks like in the data. We show it because a comparison that hides its own baseline is not one.

## What does Profound actually sell?

Profound calls its product an AI marketing platform, and its pricing page backs that up. There are three parts.

- **Answer Engine Insights** tracks how a brand and its competitors appear in AI platforms. On Enterprise it reads up to nine answer engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Exa Search.

- **Agent Analytics** tracks AI-sourced traffic and attribution across your domains, with integrations for Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, WordPress and the major clouds.

- **AI Marketer** is a credit-based assistant that knows your brand through a Context Manager, identifies opportunities, and runs Agents your team builds and reuses for recurring marketing work, at scale through Profound Sheets.

The packaging changed recently. On 4 October 2026 the page showed two options: a free trial that runs 50 prompts daily for seven days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and Enterprise at a custom price after a demo. The page's FAQ also mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan that "comes with 400 credits per month per client workspace"; no price for it is published on the page, so ask Profound for one before you budget.

It would be wrong to call Profound a monitoring tool. It has agents, and they write. The honest distinction is about who operates them: Profound's agents are tools a marketing team runs, and the page describes the team building, reusing and scaling those workflows.

## Where is Profound the better choice?

There are four situations where we would point you to Profound without hesitation.

**You have a team that wants instruments.** If you employ people whose job is AI search, Profound gives them more to work with: more engines, prompt volumes, shopping data, agent analytics and an assistant that drafts alongside them. Attensira is built for the opposite case, where nobody has those hours.

**You need engines we do not read.** The engines row in the table above lists what Attensira reads today, and the FAQ below names the ones that are still coming. Profound's Enterprise list is longer than ours: if your buyers live in Copilot or DeepSeek, or you need Exa Search or AI Mode broken out, Profound reads them and we do not.

**Your purchase goes through security review.** Profound lists SSO, SAML and SOC 2 on Enterprise. Our public plan documentation names none of these. If those are line items on your procurement checklist, Profound answers them on its pricing page and we do not.

**You need AI traffic attribution from day one.** Profound's Agent Analytics is on its trial. Our Crawler Logs come with Growth and above, not with Starter.

## What does Attensira do that Profound does not?

Attensira is an AI-native SEO agency run by software: the service of an SEO agency at the price of a tool. The difference from Profound is not that we have agents. It is that the agents are the service, and you are not the one running them.

Every morning a Daily win plan reads the prompts you are losing and the ones you are winning and does up to three pieces of work toward them. Each piece lands where it would land if an agency did it.

- **A fix to a page** becomes a pull request against your own repository, opened as a draft by default. We never push to your default branch, never push twice to the same branch, and merge only when you press Merge or have switched on auto-merge for safe changes such as structured data and alt text.

- **A page that lives in Webflow or WordPress** gets a draft in your own editor, not a silent publish.

- **An article** goes where your site can take it: a pull request, a CMS draft, a Notion page, or a copy to paste.

- **An off-site placement** starts with the pages an engine already cites for your questions that name a competitor and not you. The crew drafts the pitch or the listing; it goes from your own mailbox.

- **A community reply** on a Reddit or Hacker News thread that an answer cites is drafted for you to post from your own account. Nothing is ever posted for you.

Then every shipped change is re-read at +7, +14 and +30 days against the week before it, and each verdict says how many answers it rests on. A change inside the noise is reported as no change. That before-and-after is the receipt an agency rarely gives you and a tracker cannot, because a tracker does not know what was shipped.

## Who stays in control?

Both products leave the decision with you, in different ways. With Profound, your team decides what to make and publish, because your team is doing the making. With Attensira, the crew makes things and you decide what leaves the building.

Every Attensira workspace starts in Draft. The agents do everything inside the workspace on their own and file everything else for approval. Anything that states a claim, a price, a number, a product or competitor name, waits for a person in every mode, including Act. You can loosen hygiene work to run on its own; you cannot loosen claims. That is why the wrong engine count the crew found on our own site sat waiting for a yes rather than being rewritten automatically.

## How does the money work on each side?

Profound's pricing cards have one price on them, and that price is zero: the free trial. Enterprise is priced after a demo, and the self-serve Agency Growth plan its FAQ mentions has no published price. That suits a company that buys through procurement. It does not suit a founder who wants to know the cost before the first call.

Our pricing is credits-first, and the plan section below states it from the same source as our pricing page. You pay a plan fee that includes monitoring and a monthly allowance of credits, agents spend credits as they work, and a monthly budget you set caps what the work can be charged. Work we do not deliver is not charged: the shortfall comes back on your balance on the first of the month. Reading the numbers you already have never spends a credit.

## What does the first week look like with each?

With Profound's trial you get seven days of daily readings on three engines for 50 prompts, limited AI Marketer credits and no history, exports or API. It is enough to see the product and decide whether to book the demo.

With Attensira, on day one the crew reads your site, drafts your business profile and takes a first reading of every question you track. By the end of the first week you see the answers you lose, ranked, and the first work arrives in your inbox to approve. Our trial is for Starter only and given once; a card is required, and the plan fee is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel.

## Can you use both?

You can, and some teams should. A brand with an AI search team on Profound can still lack the hands to ship what that team finds. Attensira works from your tracked prompts and connected systems, not from Profound's data, so there is no integration between the two, and you would be paying for overlapping measurement. If you already own Profound and the bottleneck is execution, the cheaper question to ask is whether the work Profound surfaces is getting done.

## How did we check this page?

Profound's facts come from tryprofound.com/pricing, fetched on 4 October 2026 and cited cell by cell in the sources list. Attensira's facts come from docs.attensira.com, our public documentation, which is the source of truth for how the product behaves. Answer counts and the Perplexity and ChatGPT readings come from our own Attensira workspace for attensira.com, read through the Attensira MCP. We will re-read Profound's page before the next quarterly review; its packaging is the fact most likely to change.

## FAQ

### How is Attensira different from Profound?

Profound shows you where your brand appears in AI answers and gives your team an AI Marketer to research and write with. Attensira does the work to change it. Its crew writes the fix, ships it to your site as a pull request or CMS draft after your approval, earns placements on the pages answers cite, and measures each change.

### How much does Profound cost compared with Attensira?

Profound's pricing page listed two options on 4 October 2026: a free 7-day trial and an Enterprise plan priced after a demo. Its FAQ also mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan with 400 credits per month per client workspace, without a published price. Attensira starts at $129 a month on Starter, which includes 300 credits for agent work, with a 7-day free trial, card required.

### Does Profound track more AI engines than Attensira?

At Enterprise, yes. Profound's pricing page names up to nine answer engines, including Copilot, DeepSeek and Grok. Its free trial reads three: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Attensira reads ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI, with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI on Starter; Copilot and DeepSeek are coming and are not read today.

### Does Profound have agents too?

Yes. Profound's AI Marketer runs on credits and its Agents let your team build and reuse workflows for recurring marketing work. The difference is who runs them. Profound's agents help your team do the work. Attensira's crew picks the work each morning, does it, and files it for your approval, so nobody on your side has to operate it.

### Will Attensira publish anything without my approval?

Not unless you choose that. Every workspace starts in Draft: nothing leaves the workspace until you approve it. Anything that states a claim, such as a price, a number or a competitor's name, waits for your yes in every mode, and LinkedIn posts and community replies are drafted for you to post yourself.

### Can I try Profound before talking to sales?

Yes. Profound's free trial ran 50 prompts daily for seven days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews when we read its pricing page on 4 October 2026, with limited AI Marketer credits and no history, exports or API. The Enterprise plan, which carries the wider engine list, starts with a demo.
