**In short:** Otterly.AI is affordable AI search monitoring: daily tracking of how ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot mention you, plus GEO URL audits and a few recommendations a week. Attensira does the GEO work itself. Its crew ships fixes and placements after your approval and measures what each one changed.

## Verdict

Otterly.AI is the cheap, honest way to start watching AI answers, with audits and recommendations to point your team at the fixes. Attensira costs more because it does the fixes. The choice is between buying a smoke alarm and hiring someone to put the fire out.

> Otterly.ai — $29/mo — Cheapest straightforward ongoing tracker. Rankscale — ~$20/mo — Very low-cost, broad engine tracking. Cituna — $39/mo — Tracking + suggested fixes/content workflow. LLMrefs — $79/mo — More engine coverage and reporting. Peec AI — ~$80–95/mo — Deeper analytics/citation analysis. AthenaHQ — Free tier — Testing the waters before paying. … Under $40/month: Start with Otterly.ai if your priority is simply “Does AI recommend/cite us, and is that changing?”

### Who do AI engines name when someone asks for Otterly AI alternatives?

Across 63 answers to that question between 24 September and 4 October, ChatGPT and Perplexity named Otterly AI itself in 48, then Peec AI and Profound in 38 each. Attensira was named in none; that is the gap our crew works on, starting with our own brand.

Otterly's own site and help centre are read most, even on a question about leaving it. A vendor that documents itself well shapes the answer about its rivals too. That is a lesson our crew applies to customers' help pages as much as their marketing pages.

### What does ChatGPT tell someone leaving Otterly?

That the real difference between tools is whether they only monitor or also recommend and execute fixes. Its execution pick was Promptwatch. Attensira was not named, though doing the work is our whole product; that gap is ours to close.

Stored ChatGPT answer to “Otterly AI alternatives”, asked 2 Oct 2026 (n=1 answer, attensira.com workspace, Attensira MCP).

## What is Attensira?

Attensira is software that does your AI-search visibility work: whatever it takes to win the answer.

Where Otterly.AI watches answers and points your team at fixes, Attensira's crew makes the fixes: it drafts the passage, the pitch and the reply, holds each for your approval, and re-reads the answer at +7, +14 and +30 days to show whether it moved.

## What is Otterly.AI?

An AI search monitoring tool sold in low-priced tiers by prompt count. It tracks brand mentions and citations daily across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, runs GEO URL audits, gives weekly recommendations and offers Claude, Gemini and AI Mode as add-ons.

## When is neither the right choice?

Neither fits if only two or three questions matter to you. Otterly.AI's entry plan tracks 15 prompts you would not use, and a crew has too little to work on; asking those questions yourself each week costs nothing.

## Who do AI engines recommend to a startup on a budget?

"Affordable AI visibility tool for startups" is one of the questions we track. On 3 October 2026 ChatGPT answered it with a price table and a clear first pick: Otterly.ai, then Rankscale, Cituna, LLMrefs, Peec AI and AthenaHQ's free tier. It advised a startup not to pay hundreds a month at first, to track ten or twenty high-intent prompts, and to spend money on improving the pages and third-party sources that AI systems cite once the gaps are clear.

That last piece of advice is a fair description of what Attensira does, and Attensira was not in the answer. From 21 September to 4 October 2026, ChatGPT and Perplexity gave 3,534 answers to the 61 questions we track. Otterly.AI was named or linked in 759 of the 3,666 competitor readings in that window. Attensira was named in 197 answers, every one on the three questions that already contain our name. Otterly.AI owns the "affordable" answer in this category. We are not going to pretend otherwise.

## What do you get from Otterly.AI?

Otterly.AI sells monitoring by prompt count, and on 4 October 2026 its pricing page was refreshingly plain.

- **Lite**, $29 a month: 15 search prompts, four AI engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot), unlimited team members, one workspace, daily tracking, ChatGPT ads tracking, 1,000 GEO URL audits a month and 3 recommendations a week.

- **Standard**, $189 a month, the most popular: 100 prompts, unlimited workspaces and team members, API and MCP access at 2,000 requests a month each, Agent Analytics and 5,000 GEO URL audits.

- **Premium**, $489 a month: 400 prompts, larger API, MCP and analytics allowances and 10,000 audits.

- **Enterprise**: from 1,000 prompts, with single sign-on and custom terms.

Annual billing takes about 15% off. Claude is a $29 monthly add-on, Google AI Mode or Gemini a $9 add-on, and another 100 prompts costs extra.

So Otterly.AI is three things: a daily tracker, a URL auditor and a source of a few recommendations a week. It is built to be cheap enough to start without a budget meeting, and for a lot of teams that is exactly right.

## When should you pick Otterly.AI?

**You want to watch, not yet to act.** If your goal this quarter is to find out whether AI answers matter in your category, fifteen prompts on four engines for the price of a lunch is the sensible way to find out.

**You or your team will do the work.** Otterly.AI's audits and recommendations point a capable marketer at the right pages. If that marketer has the hours, the cheapest tool that points well is the right tool.

**You report to clients cheaply.** From Standard, unlimited workspaces, unlimited team members, and API and MCP access make Otterly.AI an economical reporting backbone for an agency.

## When should you pick Attensira?

Attensira is an AI-native SEO agency run by software: the service of an SEO agency at the price of a tool. Pick it when you already know the answers skip you and the missing ingredient is somebody to do the work.

The difference shows up in the inbox. Otterly.AI's Lite plan sends three recommendations a week. Attensira's Daily win plan does up to three pieces of work a day, and each one arrives finished:

- **A fix to a page your buyers ask about**, as a pull request against your repository (opened as a draft by default, never pushed twice) or as an unpublished draft in Webflow or WordPress.

- **A new article** answering a question none of your pages answer, delivered where your site can take it.

- **A pitch or a directory listing** for a page an answer already cites that names a competitor and not you, sent from your own mailbox once you approve it.

- **A reply to a cited Reddit or Hacker News thread**, drafted for you to post from your own account. Nothing is ever posted for you.

Workspaces start in Draft, so nothing leaves the workspace until you approve it, and anything that states a claim waits for your yes in every mode. After a change ships, the crew re-reads the same prompts at +7, +14 and +30 days and says, with the sample size, whether the answers moved. If they did not, the verdict says "no change".

## What is the real cost of the cheaper tool?

Otterly.AI is cheaper, and on its own terms it is excellent value. The useful question is what the whole job costs.

A recommendation is not a result. Somebody has to read it, decide whether it is right, rewrite the page, get it published, find the editor of the article an answer cites, write the pitch and follow up. If that somebody is you, the tool's price is the small part of the bill and your time is the large part. If that somebody is an agency, ChatGPT itself put agency retainers for this work in the thousands a month in a related answer we track.

Attensira charges for the work in credits. The plan fee includes monitoring and a monthly allowance of credits; agents spend credits as they work; your monthly budget caps what the work can be charged, and committed work we do not deliver is credited back on the first of the month. Reading numbers you already have never spends a credit. The section below shows our current plan, credits and trial from the same source as our pricing page.

### Whose pages do engines read when asked for Otterly AI alternatives?

Otterly's own site and help centre are read most, even on a question about leaving it. A vendor that documents itself well shapes the answer about its rivals too. That is a lesson our crew applies to customers' help pages as much as their marketing pages.

## How do the engines compare?

Otterly.AI includes four engines on every plan and sells three more as add-ons. Attensira's plan sets which engines it reads: the entry plan reads a fixed set and Gemini arrives on Growth. The engines row in the table above shows both, and the FAQ lists the engines we have not added yet.

If Copilot matters to your buyers, Otterly.AI reads it on every plan; compare that with the engines row above. If Claude matters, Otterly.AI charges extra for it. Check which surfaces your buyers actually use before you let either list decide for you.

## What do the recommendations look like next to the work?

It helps to picture one lost question end to end. Say a buyer asks an assistant for the best tool in your category and the answer names three competitors, citing a comparison article on a review site and a competitor's own guide.

With a monitoring tool, you learn that you were not named, and an audit or a recommendation may tell you that your category page lacks a clear answer to that question and that the review site lists your competitors and not you. Those are good findings. Then the work starts: rewrite the page so it answers the question in the first paragraph, get the change reviewed and published, find out who edits the review site's comparison, write to them with a reason to include you, and look again in two weeks.

With Attensira, the crew does each of those steps and brings them to you as decisions. The rewritten passage arrives as a diff you can read, with the question it is meant to win. The pitch to the review site arrives as a draft in your own mailbox, addressed to the editor the crew found. You approve or decline each one. Two weeks later the before-and-after tells you whether the answer moved, and on how many readings that conclusion rests.

## Which one fits a team of one?

For a solo founder, both are honest choices, and the deciding fact is your calendar. If you can give AI search two focused hours a week, Otterly.AI's daily readings and weekly recommendations will keep those hours pointed at the right pages, at the lowest price in this comparison. If you cannot, a cheap tracker becomes a weekly reminder of work you are not doing, and the money is better spent on a crew that does it while you build the product.

## What does a first week look like?

With Otterly.AI you add your prompts and competitors and have daily readings within a day, followed by your first audits and recommendations. The work they describe is yours.

With Attensira, on day one the crew reads your site, drafts your business profile and takes a first reading of every question you track. By the end of the first week you see the answers you lose, ranked, and the first finished pieces of work are waiting in your inbox to approve, edit or decline.

## Can you start with Otterly.AI and switch later?

Yes, and for a lot of startups that is the right order. Use Otterly.AI to learn which prompts matter and how badly you are missing. When the list of things to fix outgrows the hours you have, bring the same prompts to Attensira and let the crew work them. Nothing carries over automatically between the two, but a prompt list is a short paste.

Otterly.AI monitors how AI search engines mention and cite your brand, audits your URLs for GEO and suggests a few improvements a week, at a low entry price. Attensira is an AI-native SEO agency run by software. Its agents do the GEO work themselves, ship it after your approval and measure each change.

### How much does Otterly.AI cost?

### Is Attensira more expensive than Otterly.AI?

On entry price, yes. Attensira starts at $129 a month on Starter, which includes 300 credits for agent work and a 7-day free trial, card required. ### Which engines does Otterly.AI track?

Every Otterly.AI plan includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot; Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons. ### Is Otterly.AI good for agencies?

Its Standard and Premium plans include unlimited workspaces and team members, plus API and MCP access, which suits an agency reporting on many clients cheaply. Attensira also counts no workspaces, but it adds a crew that does the work for each client, which is a different service to resell.
