ChatGPT answered: There’s no submission form that guarantees inclusion. The main path is to make the content public, crawlable, authoritative, and easy to understand. … Your robots.txt should not block OAI-SearchBot. OpenAI specifically says that allowing this crawler helps your pages become eligible for ChatGPT Search and for inclusion in summaries/snippets. … Being crawlable doesn’t mean ChatGPT will cite it.

## What else do people ask?

### What makes content quotable by AI answers?

A short, self-contained answer to one question near the top of the page, with the subject named and the condition or number that makes it accurate. Engines lift passages, not pages.

### Should I write new pages or improve existing ones?

Improve existing pages first where an engine already reads them for a question you lose. Write new pages for questions you have no page for.

### How long should a page be?

As long as it takes to answer its question completely. Set a floor per page type so nothing is thin, and put the answer first so length never hides it.
